the cottage
Marmalade cottage was built in the early 1900’s and sits at the end of a quaint terrace. It has recently undergone thorough refurbishment, focussing on bringing the original features back to life while creating a cosy, luxurious space for you to unwind in and enjoy the Norfolk countryside from. The cottage sleeps up to four guests comfortably across two double bedrooms and is positioned just a 1-minute walk away from the infamous Dabbling Duck pub.
the GROUND FLOOR
Great care has been taken when furnishing the cottage to ensure the cosiest of stays. Upon entering the cottage, you are greeted with a semi open living and dining space framed by original railway sleeper beams and oak mantles.
Through the sliding barn door is the country cottage kitchen, with oak counter and large ceramic Belfast Sink with brass fixtures and fittings. If the weather is nice, you have the option to open the stable door and eat al fresco in the courtyard under the fairy lights.

the FIRST FLOOR
The stairs lead up to two double bedrooms and the bathroom.
Bedroom 1, the master bedroom, is located at the front of the cottage and features a king size bed.
The second bedroom is located to the rear of the cottage and has a double bed. Both bedrooms have luxurious 400tc linen, feather pillows and are tastefully decorated with carefully curated paintings and mirrors.
There is one bathroom in the cottage with an impressive deep roll-top bath and centred overhead waterfall shower. The room is kept delightfully cosy with underfloor heating and heated towel rail.

Stepping out from the kitchen door you’ll find a space where you can sit and enjoy a morning coffee, surrounded by flowers and singing birds. Should you want to store anything in the garden like bikes or paddle boards you have use of the large shed. Now for one of the best bits - at the back of the garden you will find a full-size ceramic shower tray for your four-legged friends to have a hose down after a run on the beach.

As dog lovers, how could we leave out your pawsome pals? Marmalade cottage welcomes one well-behaved dog per stay. In the kitchen larder, you will find a surprise drawer which when you pull out, are dog bowls - thank you Pinterest!
You will also find delicious smelling dog shampoo and conditioner to use in the dog shower outside.
